Developing Low Maturity NPD Processes with Simulation Game Based Development Method

This paper introduces four case studies where simulation game was used to study and advance the development of new elearning course modules. The paper describes how the simulation game method is used in developing recently emerged product/service development processes. In practice, the method is applied in developing the processes of building and offering elearning course modules. The result of the paper is a combined model, which includes both paths of incremental and radical development. In case of mature processlike activity the path of incremental development should be followed and on the other hand in case of ‘ad hoc’projects the radical path of development should be followed.
